My view of the world of and of therapy is a holistic one. We may discuss issues related to beliefs, diet, exercise, social life as well as historical events that have impacted your life. I pull from many Eastern philosophies as well as Western therapeutic interventions in my work with clients. I am most effective with clients who are open-minded, ready to change and see this process as personal growth rather than a quick fix.  For those in crisis, the work is more centered in relieving the pain of the present and finding hope and peace in the future.

It is important for me to understand current thinking patterns so that I can see where they may be impeding progress. The past is important as it relates to what is going on in the present. I choose to focus on the present and refer to the past as needed.

I am open-minded, enjoy the diversity of humanity and allow my interventions to be specific to you and your issues.

My fee is $110.00 per session and a sliding scale may be available in certain circumstances.  Many of my clients are able to reimbursed by their insurance company for my services.  A monthly statement is available to you for that purpose.  I am currently billing for Aetna clients.
